Frequently Asked Questions

Lots of people have had these questions, maybe you have them too

l

Step 1

Determine the size of your lawn

l

Step 2

Order the correct sized service for your lot size and needs

Step 3

Save time on cutting your grass, have a lawn that looks great and has a positive impact on the environment.

But if we just switch to all electric equipment, aren't we still burning fossil fuel? Since our electricity is produced by burning coal and natural gas?

Yes, you really know your stuff!  In Minnesota 16.2% of our electricity comes from Natural Gas, 28.7% comes from Coal, 25.5% from Nuclear and 28.9% from Renewable resources (like solar, wind, and hydro). (Source: https://www.eia.gov/state/print.php?sid=MN)

So while Minnesota’s Electric production is better than most states, its not perfect.

So we participate in Xcel Energy’s Windsource® Program and Renewable*Connect® Program to ensure that all of the electricity we use to power our equipment comes from renewable resources like Wind and Solar so you don’t have to worry about where the electricity comes from.

What about the vehicles you use to transport the lawn care equipment?

Not gonna lie, our truck? It’s fossil fuel burning machine (and we’re not proud of it). One of our goals is to convert all of our trucks to hybrid vehicles in by 2020 and our entire fleet to all electrical vehicles by 2022. A little ambitius for a lawn care company? Maybe, but we’re up for a challenge. We also have plans to add our own set of solar pannels to power these vehicles ourselves.

Do you do one time cuts?

Nope. We’re here all season to help you cut carbon emissions and reduce pollution for the long haul.

What if I don't need my lawn cut every week?

Nice, your lawn doesn’t need weekly cuts. Weekly cuts are what were set up to do and we do it well. If you need service less frequently we are not going to be a good fit for you.

My home is outside your coverage area, what can I do?

Call up your realtor, list it and move on over to our neighborhood! Just kidding. It’s a real bummer and we get asked this all the time. We use hyper-localized resources and seek to employ people in the communities we server which keeps our coverage area small but keeps us local. If we have enough interest in another zip code we’ll do our best to start servicing your area. Sign up on our waiting for coverage list here, and will let you know when we begin servicing your area!
